Zenda - a small planet in the galaxy of Roratania - has been taken over by "Black Michael", an evil dictator whose only purpose is to destroy the planet and crush its gentle people. After a valiant effort to defend the planet, the people have no hope except to call the one man who can save them - Captain Lazer. A lull in the battle enables them to send a daring but effective signal to summon their hero. The sky above the planet ignites to lead Captain Lazer's Space Copter to the battle site.

Driven by the evil and injustice, Captain Lazer uses the powers of his Space Copter, in a heart stopping battle, to drive back the evil Black Michael until he is trapped within his command post. Knowing that defeat is imminent, Black Michael deploys all his forces at Captain Lazer in a futile attempt to stop our hero. Angered by the wanton destruction - Captain Lazer fires his remaining rockets all at once to quash the evil dictator and save the people of Zenda.

The ground explodes in flames as the remains of Black Michael's command post ignites and is destroyed. A triumphant Captain Lazer lands among the burning ruins and by bringing his gift of fire to the people of Zenda, assures them he will always be their protector.
